What happens when you rehumanize the way teams and organizations work together?

At CorpDev Strategies, we help organizations strengthen communication, adaptability, and collaboration using applied improvisation as a practical leadership and team development tool.

Our work translates core improv principles into structured frameworks that improve how teams listen, respond, and build on ideas in real time. Through interactive exercises and scenario-based learning, participants develop the ability to communicate with clarity, adapt to changing situations, and support stronger team performance.

By embedding these practices into everyday workplace interactions, organizations create the psychological safety, trust, and agility required to navigate uncertainty, collaborate more effectively across teams, and produce better business outcomes.

90-120 Minute Workshop

Our 90–120 minute workshops deliver focused, high-impact skill development for teams that need practical tools without a large time commitment. Using applied improvisation, participants strengthen communication, listening, and adaptability through interactive exercises that mirror real workplace dynamics. This format is ideal for introducing new ways of working, energizing teams, and improving collaboration in meetings, client interactions, and cross-functional work.

Perfect for retreats, off-sites, or any group that needs a fast lift.

Half-Day Workshop

Half-day workshops allow teams to move beyond awareness into meaningful practice. Through applied improvisation exercises and structured scenarios, participants develop stronger listening habits, collaborative decision-making skills, and the ability to adapt in real time. Teams leave with clear frameworks they can apply immediately to improve communication, reduce friction, and work more effectively under changing conditions.

Full-Day Workshop

Full-day workshops provide an immersive experience focused on building high-performing teams. Participants engage in progressive exercises and real-world scenarios that strengthen adaptive communication, collaboration, psychological safety, and presence under pressure. This format supports deeper reflection, stronger team alignment, and the development of shared practices that teams can integrate into their culture to navigate change and improve performance.

Each workshop can be expanded with optional add-ons, such as mini refresh sessions, virtual workshops, coaching circles, custom scenario labs and takeaway toolkits, offered on request to meet your organization’s specific needs.

FAQs

What exactly is applied improv and how is this different from “team-building”?

1

Applied improv uses evidence-based principles (psychological safety, nonverbal communication, adaptive leadership) to improve how people communicate, collaborate, and make decisions under pressure. Teams leave with tools they can use immediately, not just a good memory.

Do participants need to be “on,” funny, or comfortable performing?

2

No. This is not comedy training. Exercises are structured, facilitated, and focused on participation, not performance. The work meets people where they are.

How many people can you work with at once?

3

We work with groups from 10 to 150+. Larger groups are supported with layered facilitation or breakout structures to keep engagement high.
