Nikki Frias
Founder
Nikki Frias is an applied improv facilitator, author, and educator with over 20 years of experience working in comedy. She helps professionals build communication, collaboration, and confidence through improvisation, with a core belief that comedy is a learnable skill, and should be accessible to everyone, not just performers.
She is the founder of CorpDev Strategies, where she brings applied improv into organizational settings to develop more adaptive, human-centered teams. Her work focuses on practical, transferable skills such as listening, presence, trust, and responsiveness.
Nikki currently teaches improv and comedy writing at The Washington Improv Theater, The DC Improv, and The Writer’s Center, and is pursuing her master’s degree in Industrial–Organizational Psychology at the University of Maryland, grounding her facilitation in research-based insights on workplace behavior, leadership, and team dynamics.
She is the author of “Does this Divorce Make Me Look Fat?” and “Damn, You Still Single?”
